Harvard Beets

Ingredients:

2 c. beets, boiled and sliced, 1/3 c. liquid reserved 2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. cornstarch

1⁄4 tsp. salt

1⁄4 c. vinegar

2 tbsp. butter

Preparation:

Warm up ingredients to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer until liquid has thickened.
